Exclusive at capricorn - a one piece forged gallery piston
capricorn has launched a high performance OE and racing gallery piston for both turbo diesel and petrol engines.
The device is from high strength aluminum and forged from one piece. The piston combines the advantages of a crown cooling gallery to reduce engine temperature and therefore wear with the stability of a high performance forged part. It is more cost efficient than a two pieces forged piston and lighter.
At this years engine expo in Stuttgart, capricorn will present the innovation in piston design to the wide European OEM audience in Hall 3 / booth 3100.
