Capricorn significant in-house piston processing capabilities include our 5 axis machining centres, specialist skirt form and grooving technology, bead blasting surface modification, radical new flow de-burring technology and low-friction screen printed skirt coatings

Furthermore we provide specialist surface treatments from electroless nickel (with or without PTFE), hard anodising, DLC and many other coatings.

capricorn AUTOMOTIVE offers high-specification forging and heat treatment for aluminum and MMC based materials with a process developed to support the F1 market demands. The forging capabilities from our Isothermal and pseudo ISO-strain forge press are fully integrated with our data logging system to ensure batch control and traceability.
